Welcome back to the blog of poets! This is the last but not least type of poetry I will teach you. It is contemporary rock lyrics as poetry.

Now, here's a question. What is your favorite song? Well, these days, many people like pop music. That's why they are called pop music. Popular music - ular = pop music. No, really. That's how they got the name pop.

For an example, let's use my favorite song. I'm not being selfish or anything. I mean, come on. It's been almost 1 and 1/3 months and no one is joining. So, let's start. This type of poetry is actually like a survey, kind of. Here are the questions.

1) Find your favorite lyrics to a song.
2) What is the name of a song?
3) What is the name of the group? Album?
4) How would you describe this song?
5) What is the song about?
6) What is the theme?
7) Copy your favorite lines and explain what they mean to you.

So here is my answer for the first question. Can you guess what it is?

I guess it was kind of obvious.

Since this is a bit boring, I'll just tell you the rest of my answers.

3) The singers are Ian Longo & Jay Wainwright, the feat was from Craig Smart, and

4) The song sounds a bit sad, but it is actually a catchy song.

5) The song is about a man telling how he feels when he is close to a women he likes.

6) It's sung when the man is telling the women he likes her for the first time.

I chose this because it's kind of awesome, having a dream actually come true and all.
