Number poem

8-9! 23-5-12-3-15-13-5 2-1-3-11 20-15 20-8-5 2-12-15-7 15-6 16-15-5-20-19!

Have I suddenly gone bonkers? No. Is this a poem? No, but it would be awesome if it was. It's the old A=1 trick.

This time, we are learning about number poems. Usually I don't write the word 'poem' in my titles, but without 'poem', this is just plain 'number', so I wrote 'number poem'.

A number poem is fun to write. Think about a number that is really important to you. Your CARE card, your address, your phone number, your birthday, anything.

As an example, let's use the birthday of Michael Jackson. Remember I used him as an example for the introduction poem? Lets do that again.

08/29/1958
08291958

The number of numbers there are are the number of lines there is going to be. The number of syllables are going to be chosen by the number. The first line has the first number's amount of syllables. If there is a (0), that becomes a (10).

Michael Jackson was tremendously cool (10)
He got the nickname king of pop (8)
Maybe (2)
He got the name by drinking pop (9)
And (1)
It was probably many of them (9)
That is how he got (5)
The nickname king of pop (8)

Of course, everyone knows that is not the reason.
